Owners Melissa and Brian Doughty mark the third generation to uphold their family’s legacy of defining style, service, and craftsmanship in Napa Valley and beyond. At Creations Fine Jewelers, delivering unparalleled quality inspires everything we do, from the experience we provide our customers to the designer lines we offer in our full-service boutique. Our showroom is welcoming, warm and beautiful. With a rich history in custom work and a team of GIA certified experts on staff, we are able to apply a firsthand understanding of sophisticated craftsmanship when selecting the brands we carry and the pieces we create, repair, and appraise.

A Note About Our Name Change. We are excited to announce that Creations by You Fine Jewelers is now called Creations Fine Jewelers. We feel that the simplified moniker is a more accurate reflection of the luxury designer brands we carry, the unique pieces we design and the level of service we provide to repairs.

BRIAN DOUGHTY
Brian is the co-owner and president of Creations Fine Jewelers. He joined the family business over 20 years ago with a keen eye for design and craftsmanship and a Bachelor’s degree in business. His ability to translate customers’ emotions and personalities into custom pieces makes him an integral part of our design process. Additionally, Brian provides extensive knowledge of timepieces, diamonds, and repairs. He is committed to building long-lasting relationships through high-touch, quality service and is actively involved in the community as well as the Sunrise Rotary. Outside of work Brian enjoys fishing, surfing, diving, and being a father to his young son and daughter.

MELISSA DOUGHTY
Melissa marks the third generation of her family to own and operate Creations Fine Jewelers. She serves as co-president and treasurer. Raised in the jewelry industry and accompanied by a business degree, she specializes in business development and accounting. Melissa is always working to bring her clients the highest quality brands, on-point trends and unparalleled customer service experiences. She is a busy mother to her young son and daughter, but always tries to find time for her yoga practice.

JOSEPH TARIGA
Joseph is a dedicated professional and a valued team member of Creations Fine Jewelry. He graduated from Pensacola Christian College in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. He began his career in the jewelry industry in 2018 as a Diamond Consultant. Favorite part of his job is creating the perfect engagement rings for customers and repair work. He holds a Graduate Diamonds Diploma from GIA and is currently pursuing a Graduate Gemologist degree. In his free time, enjoys road trips around California.

ATOUSSA BEHZADI
Born in Iran, Atoussa speaks English, French, and Persian fluently. Before calling California her forever home, she and her family lived in the city of Southern hospitality: Atlanta, for 10 years. Atoussa joined the sales team in 2023 and brings along her 25 years of professional experience in the luxury-fashion industry. Outside of work, Atoussa enjoys spending time with her family, and traveling around the world for the beauty of art, culture, and good food.
Bookkeeper & Office Manager
SHANNIE LUND
Shannie is the newest addition to our staff and brings with her over 20 years of
experience in her industry. She was born in Santa Rosa and later moved to Washington
where she met her husband, Gary. They recently have returned to the area to be close
to family and enjoy all the beautiful things California has to offer. Outside of work
Shannie enjoys sitting by the pool, taking long walks, and baking for family.
Bench Jeweler
ALEX WALKER
Alex joined the team as a bench jeweler in the summer of 2020. He is an experienced artisan who’s been passionate about the artistry and creativity of jewelry making since the age of 15. Alex’s attention to detail and intricated craftsmanship skill sets are represented by every single piece of his work. During his young adulthood in Michigan, Alex was deeply involved in the local art communities and has collaborated with many gallery events designing and creating art jewelry. Outside of work, Alex loves hiking, camping, and enjoying every aspect of nature.

CIERA DOUGHTY
Ciera joined the team in 2018, as a puppy and quickly became a beloved part of everyone's day. She comes to work every day with her positive attutude and loves to celebrate our customers.

Ruby is the newest member of our team, and we love her. She is 6 months old, and is an English Cocker Spaniel. She works hand in paw with Brian during the day, and loves hanging out in the OMEGA boutique.
